We are currently scoping a project alongside the FA and Football Foundation to gain approval to begin a 3G pitch project at Killingworth Young Peoples Club.

The project will involve turning one of our current grass pitches (already with floodlights) in to a 3G facility complete with fencing.

The project will enable children and adults (male and female) to play football all year round. The facility will be used by children and adults (male and female) from clubs around the area as we are a central venue for both mini soccer and junior football. It will also enable the community and local schools to benefit from these facilities, we will also be looking at what other sports could be offered from such a facility.
